The National Marine Park of Alonissos Northern Sporades has an area of approximately 2,315 km² and, besides Alonissos, includes six smaller islands — Peristera, Kyra Panagia, Gioura, Psathoura, Piperi, and Skantzoura — as well as 22 islets.
